Directions to the Stag and Hounds pub and restaurant at Burrough-on-the-Hill

The Stag and Hounds is a lovely little village pub set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, just 17 miles from Leicester and 7 miles from Melton-Mowbray.

We are located on Main Street in the village of Burrough-on-the-Hill between Twyford and Somerby.

Directions

From Leicester

Follow the A47 east out of Leciester.
At the B6047 junction turn left towards Tilton-on-the-Hill.
Follow the B6047 to Twyford.
At the bottom of the hill into Twyford, turn right towards Burrough-on-the-Hill.
The road bends to the right as you come into the village.
The Stag and Hounds is about 100m on your right.

From Melton Mowbray.

Take the B6047 south out of Melton Mowbray towards Market Harborough
After Great Dalby, turn left towards Burrough.
At the next junction, turn right.
As you enter Burrough-on-the-Hill, turn left.
The Stag and Hounds is about 100m on your right.

From Oakham

Take the A606 towards Melton Mowbray.
At Langham, turn left towards Cold Overton.
Continue through Cold Overton and Somerby to Burrough-on-the-Hill
Follow the road through the village.
The Stag and Hounds in just around the right hand bend and is on your left.

There is a small amount of car parking available behind the pub.
Turn left between the pub and the brewery next door.
